I am a long time customer and was disappointed with the 2005 and 2006 collection but this 2007 is just what I was looking for! I had loved the 2004 collection with Beyonce, Ashley, Shimmy Beach, etc. I just ordered Coyote Pretty and until I figure out the new sizing will wait for this shipment before ordering the Barbados, Roma, Firenze and Santa Fe - great collection but I miss the Pan Dulce line and the tie-size bottoms. Those were the best!! Thanks for bringing back your signature beautiful suits!

Hi Anonymous from March 3. Thank you a 1000 times for your kind words on our 2007 collection. Although I am sorry you did not like the 05 and 06 collections, I am thrilled to hear your excitement regarding our current collection.

I greatly appreciate your feedback (positive and negative) and your business.

Hopefully, we will bring back Pan Dulce in 2008 and I will definitely consider some tie side bottoms.

Please let us know how you like your suits after you receive them.

Hi Anonymous (3/5). We are happy to get feedback from our customers and try to follow through on those suggestions. Switching to cup sizing has been very well-received. Enjoy your new suit.

Loved your new collection! I am an aspiring swimwear designer myself, any tips on getting started?

Hi Rebockbeck and thank you for your kind words about our new collection.

As far as advice on getting into the business, well that's a tough one. Maybe I'll write a book someday.

It is very difficult to break into the business these days because there is so much competition among the long-time swimwear companies, the major design houses (which have lots of money to promote their brand) and the discounters/mass merchandisers (Walmart, Target etc.)

Before getting started, make sure you have sufficient capital, do lots of market research, find your own niche and be prepared to work really hard and wait a while for the rewards. If this is what you want to do, follow your dreams, but be prepared.

Good luck.

Do you know if the invisable thimble jelly fish that bit me all over on my last weeks trip to FT Myers Beach, giving me hives everywhere will stay alive in/on my Ritchie bathing suit even after washing it? Nice and new suit hate to pitch it but don't want cootoes again. Maybe microwave it....

I have always loved your designs and fabrics. Unfortunately, I am not as slim or young as your models. You have changed your bottoms to the "Modern" style. Any chance of bringing back the "Contempo?"
Thank you.

Dear Bikini man

Live in UK but travel to states fairly frequently. Have often bought your bikinis in MIAMI but have never found ANY style that I am really happy with or is quite right for me irrelevant of the designer (sorry, no offense meant).

Would you be able to guide me on how I can contact a designer who would be prepare to make one to my specs or even where I can purchase the material and maybe I will give it a go?

Would need a website.

Many thanks

Hi Jetset. Thank you for your comments. I am sorry that you did not find any suits that fit you just right. Next time in Miami, check out our stores one more time as we have changed our sizing an perhaps you will be happier. To find a customized suit, I would suggest a google search like "customized bathing suit" or "customized bikini". I think that will point you in the right direction.

Dear anonymous, on our website, if an item is marked "Sold Out" that means it is out of production and likely will not be available. If an item is not "sold out", it is available for immediate shipment or is back-ordered an in production. See the following URL for details on inventory status, which is updated every week or so:

Thank you.

Hey Ritchie, I have been in the business only a year now and started out with your line. It has been the success of my business. I am located in my cousins tanning salon located in Center Moriches, Long Island. About 1 hour from the Hamptons. I'm doing very good. I seem to get busy around November and February. I think people go away on cruises/vacations around that time. Anyhow, they come in to the tanning salon to get a little color before they go away and VOILA! They can also get a gorgeous bathing suit at the same time. They also get very personal service. They just love your line. I am still a small fry next to you guys, and I don't mind. Small is sometimes good. All I know is that I will always carry your line. It is what gave my business a good jump start. By the way, I miss Suzie Herdon. But Gwen is a great person. She gets the job done and gets me my suits real fast and keeps her word. I was recently in Ft. Lauderdale and saw your line in a couple of stores that I went into. I felt like a pro. I was like....I carry that line too! HaHa. I'm currently in the process of pushing my of my suits into several other tanning salons on long island. I will definetly start off with Ritchie Swimwear. Keep up the hard work! It Shows. Thanks for your time.....kathy rocco
